This is objectively not a good movie, but I still actively enjoyed almost every minute of it thanks to the sheer absurdity of this entire concept. Sure, the story is subpar yet again - and it’s clearly been cut to bits in the editing room - but Eddie and Venom’s chemistry carries the film to the finish line, and the ing cast (especially Harrelson and Williams) adds a lot of energy to the endeavor overall, if being underused. Worth a watch with a crowd of crazy Marvel fans, but all I can say is thank god that mid-credits scene teases a more promising future for our favorite Lethal Protector… 👀🕷
