This film works as an evocative nostalgia piece first and foremost.

Blockbuster was my first job after college. It was also a job I got fired from because my boss was stealing from my till & then writing me up for it. To say I have a lot of mixed feelings regarding the subject matter is an understatement. All that being said I don't think there's a job I've had that I've had more nostalgia for.
