I haven't watched this movie in decades, but I was preparing for a Sinners podcast episode and wanted to rewatch it so it would be fresher in my mind.
Tarantino really indulges all his grubby little freak tendencies here. He was such an edgelord in this era.
Clooney is charming as hell but the whole ensemble cast is fun. The tonal shift from the initial story into campy horror schlock shouldn't work but does, and while the VFX feel dated now, there's a certain charm to them, especially the practical stuff.
