First off happy Saint Patrick's day everyone! I didn't wear green but I didn't get pinched so hurray! Anyways I think I'm going to make it a tradition to watch a Hallmark movie every holiday. But to the website that lied to me and told me this was a Saint Patrick's day movie, you are getting sued. Because this wasn't a Saint Patrick's day movie it was just Irish.

Anyways because only one of my followers has seen this. Shoutout to you movie guy. Here is what happens so you don't have to watch this.

So the movie starts out in New York, and my real question is, Hallmark, why are some many of your movies beginning in New York? Whatever anyways, So then we meet Lindsey (who looks so much like Amy Adams it's actually kinda scary). And she works as a manager in the property-acquisition section of a place called Krispen Group. Which is basically a chain of upscale hotels/resorts . And she gets assigned to start a negotiation about buying property to make another resort in Killabbey, Ireland. The problem with this is the property they want to buy has a castle on top of it. So they would have to tear down the castle to turn it into a resort. And no joke when I saw this castle I was like ew. Guys it was actually so ugly no joke it had blue walls and red windows just yuck. But apparently it's sacred and the town council which owns the castle is reluctant to sell it to anyone. But the town council has to sell it at some point, because the town has no money. Which is no surprise to me because someone is always broke in these Hallmark movies. So Lindsey goes to meet with the town council and like 2 minutes into her talking they are like "ya no we aren't selling it to you lady go home." And Amy Adams dupe I mean Lindsey is like "What??" And the lead council member who's name is Alroy is like "lady you should learn more about Killabbey before ever approaching us again". And so Lindsey is like ooh I will stay in Ireland because apparently the town is having a matchmaking festival? Which is odd but whatever it's not my town. So she is going to be part of the festival so that hopefully she can get the town council to sign the property away. So while she is there she meets Brennan and immediately he hates her. He doesn't want the castle to be sold because his dad is Alroy (leader of the town council). And apparently the castle means a lot to him and his family. So he tries to sabotage her and her involvement. Ugh men am I right? I think the weirdest part of this movie is these three Australian girls who become Lindsey's best friends while she is there. I totally forget why they are there but literally right after they meet they go to get shots together. Hallmark is just not teaching us stranger danger I guess.

So overtime Lindsey starts to fall in love with the town because she's Irish too apparently? I don't know y'all I can't keep up with this shit. And Brennan is like "wait why do I kinda like her.." And so they become "friends." Ok this is not related to the plot but I am lowkey mad at Lindsey because did she not want to get laid in Ireland? Like I would want to, I don't care if it’s a business trip, Irish men are hot. So ya her and Brennan start to fall in love obviously. But there is still some tension between them because Lindsey is still trying to turn his beloved castle into a resort. But suddenly she is like wow this castle is actually so beautiful. And then she talks to Brennan and says to him "ya we are still going to turn it into a resort but like keep the castle as well." Which obviously will take a lot of money because making a new building and keeping a castle is not cheap. So she calls her boss up and is like "hey come here I have this plan." And there is like a big party at the end of this matchmaking festival, because of course hallmark has to have big parties at the end of their movies. So midway through the party she tells her boss the plan and he is like "fuck no that is a lot of money I am buying land somewhere else." So ya Lindsey then leaves? But then she decides to quit her job? And then she gets hired by a new company who will buy the property and do her plan? um... WOOHOO ig? And ofc her and Brennan get together.

Honestly this has to be one of the better ones. It was low key kinda boring though and I am surprised that Hallmark doesn't have any Saint Patrick's day movies. They should hire me and I will make more for them. Ok that's it hope you enjoyed this! BYE
