I ate this up with it's building and questioning whether if this community actually has a protector... well really when is this stone giant going to show up and create some destruction. Clearly this was Daiei Films answer to Toho's Godzilla and gives a more religious focus and the evils of men rather than other monsters but really is just as rampaging in his destruction not caring for the damage it does only seeing it answered the call to attack…

So there's a lot going on with this movie with the Graf Spee a pocket battleship which I found out is a heavier loaded cruiser so it can get around faster that was sent out to destroy ships delivering goods to the U.K. and was released before the war(tsk tsk).
So honestly there is a lot of different stories here and I did find myself getting lost on what ship was being damaged plus where they were in the battle…

I don’t know why but I’ve always been fascinated by who would actually do this to someone but here we get a nonverbal excellently made short complete with an illustrious score both filled with dark tones. Definitely worth the short watch as long as you can handle this subject matter
