Absolutely emotionally wrecked me (in a good way). A beautiful fable about motherhood, community, and overcoming our pre-conceived limitations/programming that’s sure to move viewers of any age. It’s up there with the best Pixar films from my childhood and certainly better than any of their more recent output — somehow between this and Puss in Boots The Last Wish, Dreamworks Animation has become the heir apparent to the family friendly animation crown. Anyways, go hug your moms!

P.S. There’s a tiny post credit scene that’s not exactly necessary but it is cute.
