There’s a lot of good filmmaking on display here. The film visualizes decent in a very interesting and striking way, and I honestly loved how dizzying the mise-en-scene was. It is definitely held back by some sub par performances, but the negative reaction seems mostly unwarranted in my opinion. It’s a pretty good movie.

The structure of this thing is such a mess. I really enjoyed most of the stuff the directors made here, but the documentary itself stitches there work together in the worst way I think it could have. They should have just told us the premise in the very beginning, and then presented the shorts like any other anthology film, maybe also accompanying them with an introduction by the filmmakers.
