I’m shocked how overhated this film really is, as much as it’s incomparable to the brilliance that is the first Joker, this film is still okay. As much as I am not a large fan of musicals it works in this film as a contrast to the grittiness and rawness of the rest of the film. Gaga and phoenix both put on amazing performances.

Brendan Fraser puts on one of my favourite performances ever in this film, helps u really sympathise with Charlie and why he is in the situation he is in. This film in my opinion is revolting, but I think aronofsky was trying to do this and I think every disgusting scene is necessary. Sadie sinks character annoyed me to a certain extent, due to being a cliche “edgy” teenager portrayed in far too many shit films and does not suit…
