Rewatched in honour of Abhi's birthday!
This movie's impact genuinely never lessens no matter how many times I watch it. It's certainly not perfect, but I'm totally willing to overlook many of its flaws because it's so effective, poignant, and moving. I shouldn't necessarily have watched it the same night as Mad About the Boy, since I've overloaded myself with heartbreaking examinations of grief and cried a lot as a result, but there's a reason this is in my Top 4.
