I was gonna give this an 4/5 but it's just too good. Alice Rohrwacher keeps making these masterpieces and gets so little recognition. It's a film so subtle that it may seem like it isn't saying much of anything, but what it actually is saying is just being tackled in a much different way. The exploration of curious youths and modern-day religious pursuit is done in a way where simple shots actually have a deep meaning behind them, and I thought that was brilliant. Highly recommend.
