This movie is really beautiful from start to finish. The imagery is mesmerizing and completely reels you in despite the somewhat slow pace. You just can’t look away. There’s one scene in particular I’ll never forget: a couple dancing outside a hotel as the music plays loud. It’s not a very important scene, but it’s just so gorgeous.

I’m not the biggest fan of surrealism, but this movie is nearly perfect. And there’s something intensely relatable for anyone even tangentially connected to the arts. This is a beautiful film, and if you love movies, you’ll love it.
