Letterboxd Showdown № 3: Wonder Women

Late to the party on this one. Here's the brief:

We want your top fictional female lead characters. They can be original screen creations or adapted from source material, but must be fictional and must be lead character(s).

I'm choosing to interpret 'top' not as characters who I most ire, but those who I most enjoyed seeing portrayed on screen.

I didn't think about this too much, most of this is off the top of my head.

After re-reading the brief I have begrudgingly had to remove Erin Brockovich, Monster, Wild, Spotlight, Hidden Figures and Florence Foster Jenkins (as they are based on real women).
