A Cronenberg atmosphere throughout followed by the lunacy of a Henenlotter film.

Amazing!

This film is enthralling and sucks you in from the start. Its style and atmosphere as well as the story are pretty amazing for a first time director. I didn't expect it to be so good. To say anything of the plot would giveaway the impact of the film. Let's just say Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Shannon and Amy Adams were on top form. If your looking to watch a stylish thriller that sucks you in from start to finish this is the film for you

An expected story but a great ride none the less. Exceptional performances from Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keen and the best enactment of his beloved character that Jackman has done. If only the MCU or even the Sony owned X-Men films were this honest with their violence they would be revered as much more accomplished works.
