Triangle of Sadness is a film that tries to say a lot and mostly succeeds. The sheer volume of social commentary that Östlund tries to fit in is overwhelming at times but thanks to some very efficient storytelling and character development he manages to pull it off.
On the topic of efficiency, the sequence between Carl first going to the lifeboat with Abigail and the end of the film has got to be some of the most beautifully effective relationship…
