THE film of my teenhood (is that a word?).

Watched the director's cut this time. Didn't even know it existed and I wish it didn't. Adds nothing but drag in the middle section.

Having now seen both the first two films shortly after each other, adult me thinks they both have their flaws, but the first might be the grittier, more coherent, more relentless and maybe the better of the two.

But who am I kidding, teenage me, the Guns 'n Roses fan, the young and first time movie go-er me, will never ever agree. And you know what? I kinda like that guy...
