Maybe my favorite of 2024. Has my whole heart and reminds me of why I want to make movies.

This feels like a video game cut scene compilation you stumble across on YouTube… but not in a bad way? Definitely indicative of the collapsing boundary between amateur internet image making and art house aesthetics. Relevant that it held my attention better than most films have this year — which I attribute as much to my brain rot as I do to the film’s ability to capture that brain rot and put it to good use.

Someone needs to tell the TikTok kids about this movie it’s so ripe for a reclamation. Impeccable vibes and great ideas!!

From what I can gather, the moral of the story is that the animal kingdom needs artificial intelligence to teach them that “kindness is a survival skill”. Which……………….. 😬😬😬😬😬😬
