I am *not* a big horror fan. I'm easily spooked; I have to look away from particularly gruesome/disturbing images (đź‘€ Midsommar); and I have enough low-level anxiety humming along at all times that I really hate jump scares.
But I love movies SO MUCH, and I don't want to deprive myself of good filmmaking (especially horror's visual grammar and plotting) because of my annoying dysregulation. So, as part of an attempt to watch more of this genre, I thought I'd put together a list of horror movies I *do* like.
