I watched Memories of Matsuko by Tetsuya Nakashima first. Totally over-the-top movie. Didn't really like the style the much. But after watching Happy-Go-Lucky, I started to appreciate his style—I'm beginning to understand where the charm of his films lies. And now after watching Kamikaze Girls, that realization really hit me. What an awesome movie!
