Godzilla Minus One is an excellent movie but not at all deserving of its Best Special Effects award. In fact the only thing I didn’t like was the effects. Godzilla looked terrible and its movements weren’t rendered very smoothly. If I’m being honest I would much rather rewatch any of the Monsterverse movies over this. I think Monarch handled the trauma aspect better and the few minutes Godzilla had in that show were way more memorable. Also this was very predictable but the score is amazing.
