Featuring The Original Artists

This one's a bit tricky... a showdown about the best song-centered soundtracks. As Letterboxd's description goes: we want your top ten song-driven soundtracks (no straight-up musicals, we've been there, too). Whether created by one artist or many, whether the songs are diegetic or atmospheric, we’re looking for the soundtracks that had an impact, revived a career, started a movement, pulled baby outta that corner.
So... no straight-up scores here. If there is a mix of songs and original score on the album, it's gotta have more than 50% songs to qualify. Lastly, as with other Showdowns... I will also add a personal rule here to allocate any particular director or dominant artist, like The Beatles, one entry in this list. Otherwise Wes Anderson would be all over the place here.
